My husband runs a golf course and needs waterproof shoes every morning. We have bought Merrell several times, and while he finds these comfortable, they rarely last longer than three to four months without falling apart. We have also tried salomen and they do not seem to last all that long either. This is his second pair of Columbia and he likes the shoes a lot better than any of the others and they seem to hold together better and longer. These are his favorite waterproof shoes!

I use these shoes for every day use as I am pretty hard on shoes as I do a lot of walking and a lot of slamming the shoes into objects. They are light and maintain well and allow your feet to breathe. Well worth the money
