Downhill trails....

These shoes are deceptively light, and make running down rocky trail a breeze...crossed Grand Canyon r2r2r in one day, Oil Creek 100 mile ultra the next week, plus a couple of marathons. Still prefer minimalist for marathons, but love these on long trail ultras.

Good shoe

I bought this shoe to be used for outdoor soccer refereeing. Traction was great on grass, comfortable fit, and size was as expected.

Nice shoes, but run a little small

These are very nice shoes, but they run a little small. I wear a 15, and these fit more like 14s or maybe 14 1/2. Keep that in mind if you are buying them.

Adidas KX TR

If your a fan of Adidas you will not be disapointed with this shoe. Third one I have ordered for running off-road. I also have a pair of Adidas ClimaCools. They last and take abuse. I run on average only 15-20 miles a week but I do this off on trails and away from pavement with these shoes.

Stupid Design

The front part of the shoes was like the industrial safety shoes.I wore it to run the trail and after about 40-min run, when I ran downhill, my toes hit the front part and it really hurt.After 1 hr 40 min run, I can feel the residual pain over my toes and nails.I won't recommend it to anyone who want a pair of trail running shoes.I won't buy any Salomon shoes in the future.I've no idea how a reputable company like Salomon would design and make a product that doesn't fit its purpose at all.If they want a really hard front part of the shoes to guard against the rocks fine, they must take care of the interior, the cushioning inside the shoes, they can improve it easily by putting in sponge/foam like material to avoid the impact of toes, these they did not do.I have to buy a new one for trial running and that means I wasted $120.I won't be a pair of comfortable shoes for walking either cos' it has a very hard front part remember.Since I wore it, I cannot return it, so I lost $120. Bad luck.
