I've owned the NB Minimus MT10(Orange/Black color)for the past 9 month and have absolutely loved it. It's stylish, comfortable, and durable. So when I saw this new orange MT00 came out, I just had to get it.I thought the MT10 was light, but WOW let me tell you the MT00 is probably only half the weight of the MT10. It feels like I'm not wearing any shoes at all. I think the lighter weight is not because of the 10mm heel drop difference, but because of the difference in materials. The original MT10 is made out of mostly mesh. The MT00 is made out of this very thin filmsy material. This material looks so thin that I don't know how long the shoe will last, but I've never ever had any problem with New Balance shoes, so I have no doubt that the MT00 will last.I've not run in the MT00 yet, when I do I will update this review.Bottom line this new MT00 is very stylish, and it's super light!UPDATE: Order this shoe 1/2 size smaller than your normal shoe size. The size 8.5 NB MT10 fits me perfectly while wearing a thin pair of socks. The MT00 feels a little big, even while wearing a thick pair of socks.

This pair of shoes have proven to be amazing. Super comfortable and very light and easy to take anywhere. A key point is that you need to check the width of your feet because I first tried some extra wide and they really felt wrong. Once I found the right width they have been incredibly cool. I am sure you will enjoy them. I use them to go hiking specially accross rivers as they dry quickly.

Then again I probably exceed the miles rated for this shoe. I run to and from work (3 mi each way) so I managed to put about 700 mi in 8 months. After about 4 months the shoes started forming holes in the corners where your toes bend (on each side). After forming about a dime sized hole, the material stopped ripping. I ran about 300 more miles on it without any other issues. I loved how light the shoes are feel. It is like running in your socks. One bad thing is that any water moisture on the ground will go right through the bottoms to your feet. The good thing is that it will quickly dry once you get to a dry surface again.
