I recieved a pair when I was a youngster, about 10 years ago. They have accompanied me on countless backpacking/camping/hiking trips, in fact, every backpacking trip I have been on. After 10 years, they still remain extremely breathable and still pretty water resistant, and still provide a good amount of foot support. The soles are completely gone, unfortunately, and thus it is time for a new pair. The bottom line, I will never own anything but a Montrail Masochist.

I love these Montrail Men's Mountain Masochist II shoes! This is my forth pair! They keep your fee perfectly dry so you can feel comfortable walking through wet fields or streets. They give great support. I wear them year round.
