I wore Ecco shoes for many years after a bout of plantar fascitis and they were great. Unfortunately, they pretty much stopped making them in size 14s so I had to look elsewhere. After trying several other brands (New Balance, The North Face, and even Vans....all of which fit more like size 12s than 14s), I stumbled across the Oboz brand while perusing REI's website. I purchased these shoes a month ago and have been wearing them ever since for casual wear. I have not tried them out (yet) for hiking or running, however, these shoes are very comfortable. Most importantly, they FIT! I would recommend these shoes to anyone who has had problems finding a shoe that fits in the larger sizes. They're good quality shoes...
