Incredibly comfortable and the price I got them for was outstanding. Would, and as of right now, plan to buy another pair when and if I get lucky enough to find them for $35 again.

I bought this shoe during a random/crazy sale that Amazon had. The price was significantly reduced from what's advertised on the page right now ($143 with free return shipping).So far very happy with the purchase. Having put in about 50 miles thus far, the bottom grip is solid in both dry and wet conditions. The heel cup is a little bit looser than what I'm used to.Haven't really had a chance to see whether the GTX would keep rain out. Will try to go for a run if/when it rains.On a final note, in terms of its looks... I'm not super happy about having multiple instances of "The North Face" printed all over the shoe (bottom, tongue, side, front, back, insole). I would've much preferred just one or two logo placements. Having this many logos kind of turn me off, but I shouldn't complain given how much I paid for it (less than $40).

Very comfortable and made well, haven't ran in any wet areas yet so can't review the waterproof capabilities but it's Gor-Tex so I'm expecting that to work well, will come back and update this review if it doesn't. Got these on sale for $26.00, would pay double that. But I wouldn't spend $100+ on any running shoe.Update: The shoe has shrunk a little! They are now tight, I wear a 12 and now need 12.5 now, disappointing. Took a star off for the shrinkage.
