Ever since I started using these shoes, I just loved them. Very comfortable in all weathers, rain/shine/snow/hail, doesn't matter. Wear them and just feel comfortable. Amazon seems to have a better price offer than the actual Columbia sports wear company stores.

I've only had these a few weeks and have used them on several trail walks/runs of 3 to 4 hours each so it is still early days. However, I'm already in love. These mid-boots fit superbly - snug and supporting but not tight or constricting. I have a size 12 US slightly narrow foot and the D(M) is perfect.They are really light and this alone has made a big difference to how "athletic" I feel. The sole is thinner than some heavier shoes but this doesn't seem to be a disadvantage. There is still plenty of underfoot protection and the sole soaks up shocks a well as any other trail shoe I've tried. The mid boot (cut under the ankle) allows full movement, provides a little more support and provides greater protection when the trail walk/run becomes a scramble across the rocks. On two of the outings so far, the tracks were quite wet with a few puddles and water crossing that couldn't be avoided. Oh how I love the outdry waterproofing. There's nothing better than dry feet. It also makes them a breeze to clean afterward. Great shoes/boots. I love them.
