I really wanted to like this shoe. I liked the fun, sporty styling, the mesh is lighweight and airy. As a lifelong saucony and new balance wearer, I tried out columbia because I just didn't like the current crop from those manufacturers other than the shoes I had just worn out and wanted something different.The fun styling and comfort of the top of the shoe is why I didn't give the product zero stars.So why am I down on the shoe? The arch support is placed too far back and makes the shoe painfully unwearable. It may feel snug and even nicely supportive at initial blush, but after a few hours in the shoe you will be looking for an excuse to take the shoe off and let your feet rest. For a dress shoe, that might be an acceptable sacrifice, but for a running shoe I expect comfort.I really wanted to like this shoe (so much so I purchased three different colors) and gave them a couple days of heavy wear, but at the end they are just too painful to keep.

very good quality, it is not first product from COLUMBIA for me and I love COLUMBIA, it is better than on pictures...UPDATE: normal(better than many winter boots) grip on ice, and good grip on snow and wet surfaces...
